We
have been patients of Dr.B's for quite a long time now. We initially
were seeing him for male/female hormone & diet issues. Then my
husband was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Since there is
no cure for ALS, we consulted with Dr. B regarding IV therapy treatments
with glutathione. After just 2 treatments, my husband noticed a
difference. My husband went from NOT being able to lift his own legs
into bed or into the car without my help to now being able to do these
things himself. The IV therapy has really stabilized him and given him a
better quality of life. We go twice per week for the IV therapy &
Michael is excellent at his job - he is very smooth when putting the
needles into the veins. We highly recommend Dr. B.

Bron is the only health provider (and I have many) that figured out how
to balance my hormones, identified and corrected a thyroid problem and
gave me supplements that have improved my quality of life. He spends
so much time with you during office visits, you feel like his only
patient. Not only is he an excellent doctor full of positive energy,
his whole office staff is as well. I am grateful to have been referred
to him. I've never been in better hands.

The first time my wife and I went to see Dr Bronner, I was skeptical. We had appointments with other physicians in the past with similar credentials. How could this be any different? Well, a year or so earlier, I was diagnosed with severe adhesive capsulitis otherwise known as frozen shoulder ...in both my shoulders. My primary care physician recommended 6 weeks of PT, which helped a little. Just in making small conversation, I happened to mention this fact to Dr. Bronner during our office visit. He told me that he had something which he believed might help me regain my latent mobility. He immediately went to his cabinet, pulled out a small syringe and needle and began injecting me in several areas of both shoulders with something...I never knew what it was. Prior to the injections, I was unable to string my belt through the loops in my pants. Not 5 minutes after receiving those injections, I was able to clasp both my hands behind my back, for the first time in several years. My mobility was dramatically enhanced that very first visit! Sure, I'm not without an occasional bout with A.C. , yet for the few minutes that Dr. Bronner took to listen to feel my pain , I have been rewarded with 5 years relief. I don't even want to think where I would be, physically, without Dr. Bronner's intervention and concern for my quality of life. Why was this procedure unavailable at my primary care physicians office or during PT? I couldn't say. What I can tell you is that I consider Dr. Bronner Handwerger an excellent physician, a doctor who loves seeing patients leave his office better than when they came in. He is in the wellness business offering his patients medical alternatives to those accustomed only to conventional, A.M.A. medical practices. Dr. Bronner is a mensch ! I bless Dr. Bronner, his wonderful staff...and my wonderful wife for finding him I bless the day that we walked into his office....more than 5 years ago.

A brilliant mind attached to a personable guy. What more could you ask of a physician? Though our first meeting was by phone, Dr Hanwerger put me at ease and demonstrated compassion and complete understanding of my needs. As a physician myself, I think his approach is impeccable.
I had a tremendous amount of pain on my right elbow and arm. Constant pain that kept me up at night. My condition also prevented me from lifting weights at the gym. I was afraid I was suffering from a permanent injury due to the repetitive motion due to my occupation as an auto detailer. I was helpless until I met Dr.Bron. I am so happy I mentioned my condition to him because he then educated me on the benefits of prp (plasma rich platelet) Injections. I decided to make an apt and visit him at his beautiful offce where he educated me even further. I am 62 years old and have been seeing Dr. Bronner for years, and with terrific result. He has treated and controlled my adrenal deficiency and elevated my testosterone to that of a healthy young man. This with alternative and largely natural solutions. I have been to endless doctor appointments without answers for years due to abdominal bloating, pain, intolerances, etc. Previous doctors discouraged me to follow up over the years in regards to my GI issues, due to their lack of knowledge and uncertainty sending me to a variety of practitioners to bandaid the problem. Dr. Bronner's holistic approach to resolving my symptoms is a refreshing experience. From the minute I set my appointment the staff was kind, helpful and concise about what everything would cost and expectations of the appointment. Dr. Bronner honestly listened to me and came up with a solid game plan for about 80% of what I'm experiencing. The other 20% he didn't pretend to already have an answer and was willing to study me more to find out instead of throwing costly meds and supplements at me to put a bandaid on it like I've had docs do most my life. Dr. Bronner was recommended by a close friend! I was a little hesitant at first since I have paid for so many doctors and gotten horrible results but I can happily say this was not the case! I felt cared for and included on the course of my hormone replacement treatment! Dr. Bronner investigated all of my past history and medications, asked me great questions and explained the course of action! Not to mention he had me take very important tests that unfortunately no other doctor has ever taken the time or cared to do so, such as a simple bone density scan! Even if the news is less the optimal, he has a great delivery and always makes you feel cared for. The medical world would be a much better place if every Doctor was like him, but I guess thats why he is one in a million. If you have not seen him, give yourself a gift and go see him. Dr. Handwerger was recommended to me by my chiropractor Dr. Lance Cohen. Scheduling was easy, the office staff worked me in early due to a bothersome, on going issue with hormone imbalance that was being unsuccessfully remedied by my HMO. Let me tell you, going out of network to spend an hour with this brilliant doctor is worth twice the fee! Although seeing him for my immediate bothersome symptoms, Dr. Handwerger looked at all my past blood work over the last few years and uncovered the root of virtually all of my compounding issues that I have been experiencing! He put me on topical hormone replacement cream with the aid of San Diego Compounding Pharmacy while my blood work was being processed. Just in that short two weeks time my initial issue was resolved. After meeting with him to review my blood work, I am on a simple regime of nature, quality care and I feel better than I have in over a year! My middle body fat is dropping and my energy level is amazing and sustained. My gratitude for the caring and talents of this dedicated doctor are beyond words. We all deserve medical care like this.
Greetings! I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Bronner Handwerger. Dr. Bron is the most skillful, knowledgeable and compassionate physician I have ever met. I say this with no hesitation. I was diagnosed with MS 23 years ago and after eight neurologists prescribing "canned' treatments for patients with my malady with minimal input from me, it was refreshing to meet a physician who thoroughly questioned me regarding my symptoms and medical/social history as well as to what I thought was the problem. Traditional western medicine's approach to diagnosing and treating issues always shocks me. It seems they always treat a specific symptom and fall back to prescribing the medication de jeur instead of taking a holistic approach of evaluating the situation and treating accordingly. For example, Dr. Bron conducted a full blood, hormone, nutrient, thyroid panel with a comprehensive evaluation of all the variables and markers prior to recommending any treatment and suggested treatment addressing all of the issues as opposed to a particular symptom. Dr. Handwerger is my physician from this point onward and I am confident I will be completely healed under his care. I am very excited and grateful for Dr. Bron and his approach. Oh, by the way, his staff is incredible as well.
